There has been a huge buzz surrounding one of my favourite EVER green beauty brands, Fitglow beauty. This is a well deserved reaction to the Canadian born makeup and skincare line. Fitglow is known for its makeup that doubles as skincare as well as a nutrient dense skin care line that delivers some of the most potent and skin boosting ingredients around. Not many brands have been able to perfect both makeup and skincare but if I had to choose just ONE brand, Fitglow would hands down be my deserted island choice. I have been a huge fan of this brand for years now as it was carried by one of the green beauty spas I went to in Toronto in its earlier years. Fitglow Beauty has always had rave reviews and it’s become the standard for green beauty. I have been using their foundation boosted with seaweed bio extracts and hyaluronic acid for about three years now and it has been my go to for everyday wear. Today I’m talking about their Lip Colour Cream 3-in-1 lip treatment aka lipstick that comes packed with collagen and other lip boosting ingredients that work to reduce lines and help keep lips supple and full. Fitglow describes them perfectly “Lip Colour Cream 3-in-1 treatment nourishes lips with clinically-proven super plant extracts to revive lips natural youthful appearance. Feeding lips at a cellular level, this hydrating cream strengthens and replenishes collagen to increase fullness and firmness while also conditioning and healing the lips.” Sounds dreamy, doesn’t it?
Their ingredients are always clean and nourishing, Fitglow beauty is always incredibly transparent with their ingredients decks. They really have nothing to hide when it comes to how clean their formulas are.. I feel that I can always trust my skin with them. Here is what you can find inside your lip colour cream:

- as a side note: Fitglow beauty is always cruelty free and does not test their products on animals. This particular lip cream does contain beeswax so is not considered vegan.
Aside from their benefits, the formula of this lip product is so creamy and light, making it feel as though you aren’t wearing anything at all. I am never a fan of thick lipsticks that pill and don’t move when you rub your lips together. I love that this is a lip treatment in a lipstick, we often forget about our lips when it comes to skincare and sometimes adding a lip balm isn’t always enough. Lips begin to show signs of aging as well and the ingredients in these lip creams are meant to help your lips age gracefully with the rest of your skin. Similarly to ensuring you take care of your neck and decolletage, lips should be remembered too.

The colour pay off of the lip creams are also amazing and I have become a huge fan of their nude lip tones in the line. Since I know there are many women out there looking for the perfect nude, I felt it would be a great idea to share my personal favourite options for this type of shade from their line. The nudes come in three options in the lip creams:
Pure Creamy nude peach
Buck Creamy nude pink
Beach Deep nude shimmer
I’ve also swatched the lip creams on white press board and my arm so you can see how the tones look. If your skin tone is much different than mine it may help to focus on the swatches sitting on white press board. My personal favourite is Buck and it’s been my everyday go to.
